ASKTN currently supports Tamil and English with automatic language detection. The system identifies the language used by the citizen and responds in the same language throughout the entire interaction. Support for additional Indian languages including Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi is planned for Phase 2.
Citizens enter their 12-digit Aadhaar number, which triggers an OTP to their Aadhaar-linked mobile number via the UIDAI gateway. Upon successful OTP validation, a secure session is created. ASKTN never stores Aadhaar numbers — only a tokenized reference compliant with UIDAI guidelines.
The AI classification engine uses a fine-tuned NLP model trained on thousands of government grievance categories and department-specific terminology. It analyzes the subject, keywords, location context, and historical routing patterns to determine the correct department with over 96% accuracy.
When an SLA deadline is approaching (24 hours before), an automated escalation alert is sent to the supervising officer. If the deadline is breached, the complaint is automatically escalated to the next authority level and flagged on the executive dashboard.
ASKTN uses AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. The infrastructure is deployed on Indian data centers (AWS Mumbai region) for data sovereignty compliance. We follow CERT-In cybersecurity guidelines and all access is governed by role-based access control (RBAC) with full audit logs.
Yes. ASKTN has native Flutter-based mobile apps for both iOS and Android, featuring voice input, camera upload, real-time tracking notifications, and offline support for low-connectivity areas. The apps are available in both Tamil and English interface languages.
